Everything hurts right now. i trained on Tuesday and got man-handled by EVERYBODY. even the dudes i could tap before. Wednesday...same story. i got choked by a newb. i was so demoralized. i was talking with josh and amir, and they both said the same thing. they call it "the breakdown". it's when you reach sort of a plateau where you don't really improve, and then the plateau turns into a valley where you actually suck more. but after that i hear you get EVEN BETTER THAN BEFORE! maybe i'm reaching an impending "lvl up" or maybe i'm just sucking. either way i'm still enjoying myself at Tri-center.
After the ass-kicking session mike and i went to this house in westpark thats owned by his church. it's a randomly nice house with no one living in it. we commenced jamming. it has been so long since i've played i felt a little insecure. but i got over it pretty quickly and got into the music. man, it felt so good to use that creative side again which was basically untapped for this past school year.

then we smoked marijuanas.
